Baltimore firefighters battled a three-alarm fireplace brought on by a potential explosion that severely injured two kids and three adults.

Hearth officers stated it occurred round 10 p.m. Sunday within the northwest a part of the town and concerned 5 rowhouses.

Witnesses advised WJZ-TV they heard a noise that appeared like a sonic increase and stated they believed it could have been a gasoline explosion.

Baltimore Gasoline & Electrical issued an announcement Monday saying crews performed checks that discovered no gasoline leaks in traces resulting in the properties.

“BGE’s information for this space present no latest leaks, no repairs or lively challenge work and no gasoline odor calls within the final 12 months,” utility officers stated.

“I heard a increase,” a lady named Jacqueline advised WJZ. “It shook every little thing. I assumed it was an earthquake or one thing.”
