Cape Cod police say a 69-year-old man was the sufferer of an assault on Election Day, as he was holding up a Trump marketing campaign signal at a polling place.
Barnstable Police stated the incident Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of Bladen Tisdell, 32, on costs of assault and battery on an individual over 60 years previous and disorderly conduct.
The arrest got here after officers confirmed up at Osterville Fireplace Division in response to a report of a combat, in accordance with CBS four Boston.
The person who complained advised police he was holding up the “Trump 2020” signal when Tisdell pulled up subsequent to him in his pickup, the station reported.
The Cape Cod Instances reported that the person stated Tisdell bought out of his truck yelling at him, grabbed the signal and threw it on the bottom after which shoved him backward.
He was not harm.
Police stated the incident was seen by the sufferer’s spouse and one other particular person who corroborated what occurred, the paper reported.
Tisdell has a court docket date scheduled for Wednesday.
