The person accused of stabbing and critically injuring a Lengthy Island, New York, police officer earlier this month whereas allegedly excessive on methamphetamine has been indicted on 10 costs in reference to the assault, county officers introduced Wednesday.
Jonathan Nunez, 25, was hit with 4 felony costs of aggravated assault on a police officer, first-degree assault, assault on a police officer, and two counts of assault, along with costs of resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an incident leading to bodily harm, reckless driving and working a motorcar whereas impaired by a drug, Suffolk County District Lawyer Timothy Sini introduced.
Authorities stated Nunez was driving a 1999 Mercedez-Benz in Patchogue, on Lengthy Island, round 10:30 p.m. on April 10 when Suffolk County Police Officer Christopher Racioppo allegedly noticed him “driving erratically” and with no headlights on.
