A Colorado girl was discovered lifeless Friday from an obvious bear assault within the southwestern a part of the state, in response to Colorado Parks & Wildlife.
The 39-year-old’s boyfriend discovered her Friday night close to Trimble, north of Durango, after he arrived dwelling and found their two canine exterior. He believed she had been strolling the canine earlier than she was attacked. He final spoke to her Friday morning.
“Bear assaults are extraordinarily uncommon,” Cory Chick, CPW Southwest Area supervisor, stated in a launch. “It is a tragic occasion and a tragic reminder that bears are wild and doubtlessly harmful.”
CPW and the La Plata County Sheriff’s deputies referred to as in a canine workforce from the U.S. Division of Agriculture Wildlife Providers, which shortly discovered a feminine black bear and two yearlings.

The bears had been euthanized and brought to a lab for a necropsy. The sow was believed to be greater than 10 years previous.
